The Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA), a megalopolis development plan linking Hong Kong, Macau, and nine cities in Guangdong Province into an integrated economic and innovation hub. With a combined GDP exceeding $1.9 trillion and a population of over 86 million, it aims to rival the San Francisco Bay Area, New York metropolitan area, and Tokyo Bay Area.
